MONTHLY FEATURE: 2BUY2SEE2READ

Hello everyone! Here's the second instalment of my new monthly feature, 2Buy2See2Read!! This is basically my monthly favourites and recommendations of things I've genuinely enjoyed this month!! Without further ado, lets get into this post.

2BUY

- First up is a favourite product of mine this month which, if you love having great brows...you NEED in your life for sure. It's a bit of a cult favourite, but I've been loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow.

As with all ABH packaging, it's beautiful which isn't a surprise. I've also been loving this brush to use it. It might be a bit big for some peoples' preferences but I find it works perfectly, especially in getting those air-like brush strokes!

Apologies for how grim the dip brow looks, but that's just how it is when you've started using it! The formula of this is completely different to any other brow product I've used before. I used to use the Benefit Ka-Brow and honestly it was awful. There would be bits of product, like clumps in my eyebrows and it was so hard to work with. This, however is creamy and literally glides onto your skin. It's so pigmented and easy to use, it barely takes me any time to do my eyebrows in the morning, especially as I have to get up so early and don't have long to do my makeup.

As you can see, I have the shade Ash Brown, which is for black/dark brown hair. I was a little sceptical about the shade at first as my hair is pretty much black, but it's perfect for me. It's a great cool toned product!

Here's a lil swatch for you, and you can see how much pigment this has! You can buy this on BeautyBay and CultBeauty for £15, which I think is a great price! Overall, as you can probably tell, I'd definitely recommend this, it's a game changer!!

2SEE

-Next we have a huge film that's come out this month and I think it's for everyone, but especially us ladies because it serves some serious GIRL POWER!!

Firstly, lets just take a minute to look at her. How bloody flawless is she?! Wonder Woman was originally a DC comics character and finally appeared in Batman v Superman in 2016, and now has her own film!! She is played by Gal Gabot, who can I just say is THIRTY TWO. SHES SO FIT. Basically, without revealing too much, Princess Diana (aka Wonder Woman) lives on an Amazonian island called Themyscira. She lives there with a whole island of solely women, who train to be warriors.

What I loved about this film was the fact that it is set in 1918, World War 1. My absolute favourite film of all time is Hacksaw Ridge, which is also a war film, and I love Saving Private Ryan and American Sniper, so anything with war in really interests me. What I loved about this film is that its great for action, emotion and humour. I found myself laughing and crying throughout this film, and the special effects are incredible.

So basically this woman is a complete badass, and all the ladies on the island are badasses, and even though Diana is surrounded by men later on in the film, she by far is the most dominant, powerful and skilled. She's just so badass and really gets you going right in the feminism feels!

2 READ

- Lastly I have another cult favourite but honestly again its incredible and if you haven't got it in your life YOU NEED IT NOW! This is Milk & Honey, a poetry book by Rupi Kaur. If you haven't seen this all over the internet I think you might have been living under a rock.

As you can see, the book itself is beautiful and obviously makes for gorgeous pictures, which is a bonus, haha!! Rupi herself is just 24 years old and does all her illustration herself. She is known for using lowercase letters in all her work.

The book is split into four sections; the hurting, the loving, the breaking and the healing. The sections are pretty self explanatory, and contain poems relating to the subject. There's loads of subjects covered, including love, heartbreak, abuse and femininity. It's a heart wrenching collection of poems and even if you aren't feeling exactly what you're reading, it makes you feel it anyway. I feel like you can relate to a lot, even if it was in your past.

Here's just a lil look at my favourite poem (the one on the right) so far. I feel like I could read this over and over and not get bored of it. I really feel like its got something for everyone inside and would totally recommend it. You can get it pretty much anywhere, I got mine from Amazon and it isn't that much money at all!

That's it for this months favourites, I hope you enjoyed!! Let me know if you've tried/seen/read any of these products!
