HUDABEAUTY 3D HIGHLIGHTER PALETTE: PINK SANDS

Hellooo!! Yet another new makeup product that I got for my birthday..but I cannot ignore this!

This is the beautiful HudaBeauty 3D highlighter palette in the Pink Sands edition! I've never tried anything by this brand and to be honest, despite being told that this is really huge in the makeup world, I'd never heard of this before!

Lets dive in!

As you can see the packaging is stunning! We have the woman herself on the front, looking flawless as always! We also have the classic logo in half white and half pink. The pink is reflective in the light which is so pretty, and the 3D highlight writing is embossed, if that's the right word. It's kind of 3D itself, in a gorgeous rose gold colour.

iHere we have it! As you can see its absolutely stunning. Although there is no mirror (cryyyy), on the top we have four squares explaining the steps that you can use the palette in. The idea is to use all of them in order on your face. Obviously you don't have to, but if you want like the ultimate glow, you can do this. Here's what I gathered for each step;

1. Prep - before setting
2. Set - over makeup
3. Sculpt - contour
4. Flush - blush

I honestly love this packaging so much, it's so sleek and gorgeous and definitely looks expensive. Not that that matters, but you can definitely see what you're paying for!

Okay, onto the shades! Firstly, the lighting in this picture does the swatches no justice at all so trust me when I say...this palette is amazing!! In the top left square, i.e. the bottom swatch, is called Capri.

Capri is the "prep" step of the palette. The idea is to put it on as a base before foundation etc. It claims to smooth skin and boost light pigments, and is a beautiful cream formula. As you can see in the pictures and hopefully the swatch, this is a beautiful bronze colour with a slight peachy/gold reflect in the light. Let me tell you, this glides onto the skin so beautifully and looks incredible, whether you put it under your makeup or on top before you powder. Its very versatile.

Secondly, in the top right and the next swatch up, we have Santorini. This is the "set" step. This is a beautiful pure white highlight shade, a powder formula. This shade also has a very slight gold reflect to it. The powder formulas also go onto the skin beautifully and a little definitely goes a long way! This would be great for paler gals, it may look slightly ashy on darker skin tones.

Next, we have the bottom left shade, Azores. This is the "sculpt" step of the palette, and to be honest with you I haven't tried it as a sculpting stage, but I do use this all the time on its own on my cheeks. This is my favourite shade of the palette, and it looks incredible on tanned skin too. Like the other powder shades, they are so smooth and easy to apply and blend on the skin. They literally melt in!

Finally, we have the "flush" step, the shade Ibiza. This is a stunning pink/peach shade, and really is just absolutely beautiful. I haven't played around with this one as much, but I would really like to once I fake tan again. What's great is that it isn't a matte blush kind of shade, its a creamy, smooth shade with a sheen to it, that catches the light incredibly.

This highlight palette is definitely worth the money, it retails at £40 but I think that's great for four different products in one, especially at this buttery smooth formula. Here's where you can get it:

Cultbeauty

There's more good news! There are two editions of this palette! This one as I mentioned at the start is the Pink Sands edition and this is more suited to fair/medium skin tones. If you're a darker skinned gal you can pick up the medium/deep edition, called Golden Sands, which features four other shades.

I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who loves HudaBeauty or loves highlighting, because this is exactly what you've been looking for!

Until next time,

chlo xx
