CHELTENHAM: LADIES DAY

Hello! As you all know, I love the races thanks to the introduction from my boyfriend back in September. I couldn't believe it when we got tickets to Ladies Day..like actual Ladies Day in Cheltenham. It honestly was such an amazing day out and the weather as you'll see in the photos, was perfect. In all, there were over 50,000 people there if I remember correctly.

I just thought I'd make a quick post about the day and include some photos because it's certainly something I won't forget, I'd definitely love to go back again next year.

Hopefully you all know that Mother's Day is just around the corner, and I am coming to realise as I get older that one day I'm not going to have my mum anymore, and that while she still graces the planet, I should let her know how much I appreciate her.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION: RETRO LUXE LIQUID LIPSTICK

Hello again!

We all know that over the past year, big lips have been the in thing. It all started when Kylie Jenner just suddenly got hot. It was literally like she woke up one day looking fit as fuck and nobody knows when it all happened. At the start of this, she put her huge lips down to wearing MAC Velvet Teddy, which is now pretty much their best selling lipstick. Then of course we were introduced to Kylie Cosmetics, and since the launch, the liquid lipsticks and lip liners have by far been some of the most popular products.

Don't get me wrong, I love high end makeup...but Kylie's stuff is god damn expensive, especially seeing as you have to pay to ship her stuff over from America, and there's loads of controversy over people not even receiving their orders. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I was looking for a good dupe.

Basically, our babes at Makeup Revolution released a new line of liquid lipsticks that come with matching liners. They're called the Retro Luxe Liquid Lipsticks, and are seen as a dupe for the Kylie lipkits. Now, it's time to quit the rambling and give you the down low on these babies.

VIOLET VOSS: HOLY GRAIL PALETTE

Hello! Recently, I received a gift from my lovely boyfriend for Valentines Day that I was not expecting at all. As you can tell, this is the beautiful Violet Voss Holy Grail palette. I honestly have been after this for ages but haven't had the money to "waste" per se on this.

I thought I'd do a little blog post about it with some photos and swatches, so don't mind my little pale twig arms!

WHATS IN MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP BAG?

(ANOTHER) FOUNDATION REVIEW- NARS ALL DAY LUMINOUS WEIGHTLESS

Hello again! Today I am here with another foundation review. Foundation is easily one of my favourite makeup products to try out, mainly because I'm so picky. My skin tone is so difficult to match and every "professional" that has matched a foundation to my skin has been completely and utterly wrong. There has never been a foundation that has completely matched me, which is probably why I'm on some sort of manhunt to try every foundation that ever existed.

In December I went to Birmingham and went shopping in the Bullring, and naturally went into Selfridges, died, and came back to life again. Oh, and I took my bank account with me too. I've always always wanted to try a NARS foundation because the YouTube beauty community just raves about them. I went up to the counter and asked the lady the difference between the Sheer Glow foundation and the Luminous Weightless. Naturally, I chose the Luminous Weightless because she said it's full coverage, and that's what I love in a foundation. I don't care if I look like I'm wearing foundation, that's the whole point. I want to be flawless, hahaha!

Anyway, without further ado, lets jump into this review.

OOTD: CHELTENHAM RACES

Hello! I recently went to Cheltenham with my boyfriend to watch the horse racing (totally worth it by the way). He took me to the local races a couple of months ago and I had an amazing time and so one day he just booked the Travelodge and surprised me!
I genuinely had the best day ever and we did pretty well in terms of betting, plus we just got pissed. I'd really recommend going if you haven't been before. Plus the atmosphere at Cheltenham is just crazy, even though it wasn't the actual festival.

Anyway, today I am bringing you an outfit of the day from our day out. Obviously its only December so nowhere near the dress expectations of something like Ladies Day, but I still wanted to be smart. Warm, but smart. Without further ado, heres my Cheltenham OOTD.
